Karl’s Boxcar

I have been doing a little work on Karl’s Box Car. It is former D.& R.G.W. #3126.

I have replaced some missing siding and have done a little patching. Tomorrow I will be warming up the #3 and starting in on the end door. I have already fixed the brake pipe.

The plan is to scrape, paint and letter it and hopefully use it for the round-up. How does a doublehead freight train sound? Still some odds and ends to do, such as a roof walk and COTS work on the brakes.
