We’re On Google Earth!

The other day, my computer science professor introduced a unit using Google Earth (for those who aren’t familiar, a popular satellite imaging/mapping wiki-program which can be downloaded here.) She pointed out how certain attractions and landmarks had user-added photos and details, and encouraged us to look around. To my surprise, not only was there a listing for both the Santa Margarita Ranch and Pacific Coast Railroad, but also a series of user-added photos taken during the 2006 and 2007 Round-Ups. And to my even greater surprise, there was a a great one of our “beloved” Thumper with yours truly boiling water!

The photos by user “Chomper” can be viewed even without Google earth via Panoramio. Check them out!
