Trains To Run For SLO Intl. Film Festival

Ah, the smell of synergy in Santa Margarita!

On March 7th, we will be partnering with the San Luis Obispo Intl. Film Festival to provide steam train rides in conjunction with the evening encore of Emperor of the North. A favorite among railroad enthusiasts, this 1973 hobo vs. trainman action/drama, starring Lee Marvin and Ernest Borgnine, was filmed on the now-abandoned Oregon Pacific & Eastern Railroad and features its well-traveled Mikado #19 (now on the Yreka Western).*
